CRITI has joined hands with Piramyd and provides them support in the solving the day to day issues that the users face in Navision.

Superdome

After a lot of deliberation a timeline of two days was provided to the IT team for the migration by the business. "We had only 'one shot'. If we could not migrate successfully at a single go, Superdome would not Go-Live in the organizational landscape."
- Chinar Deshpande - CIO Pantaloon's

Vroooooooomm….VRMP

The supply chain arm of PRIL had long been plagued with a host of problems linked to the large number of vendor related issues. Thus, they looked to the IT department to deliver a solution which would simplify the Vendor Relationship aspect of the organization.

POS Integration

Data Migration was the basic building block for other linked activities like listing, assortment and generation of IDOCs in SAP IS Retail. Improper data migration creates the following problems:
The PoS core team decided to build a newer version of the legacy PoS (Retail Enterprise Manager) which could interact with SAP. This version would be the R3 POS version.

IDoc Management

IDOCs are text files which hold data crucial for business to function. These text files are used to enable communication between SAP and POS. It's functioning is fairly simple. Both SAP and POS are essentially databases of different formats. To enable communication between the two these database files are converted into simple text files for the ease of transfer of data. Thus data files sent from SAP to POS are called outbound IDOCs and the sales data files from POS back to SAP are referred to as inbound IDOCs.

Customer Loyalty Programme

A loyalty program is an effective tool for a retailer and it serves as an important research tool for the Pantaloon format to analyze demographics et. al of its varied and wide customer base. Thus the importance of upgrading the card in a short time was of utmost importance.
